I miss the days of Napster, the file sharing community that was widely

I miss the days of Napster, the file sharing community that was widely popular many years ago. I used to spend most of my teenage years downloading music and sitting in them chat rooms participating in pointless conversations while everybody sat patiently waiting for their songs to finish downloading. It was a cheap alternative to buying music anyway. Actually it was free. I never spent a penny. However somebody always has to spoil the fun for others. It didn't take long before Napster started getting hit with lawsuits from artists along with record labels and it soon became a service that you had to pay for.
I quickly abandoned that ship and quickly found a new venture in the form of a system called torrents. I was soon back to downloading music along with movies and even applications. I remember one particular day I got up early one morning to try and download a new album that I had seen on MTV and I went to this site to search for it. A hacker must have attacked that site because as soon as I typed the URL and pressed enter my entire screen got bombarded with pop-up windows that covered my entire screen. It was the most random stuff I had ever seen. This one message read "automatic driving lessons for women" followed by another message that said "take your driving test today". My first though was, what kind of hacker brings down a website and then starts advertising stuff like automatic driving lessons. What purpose does this serve. Every time I clicked the red cross on one of them automatic driving lessons pop-up windows another duplicate would appear a second later. After about 5 minutes of trying to clear my screen of this nonsense I finally lost my temper and just shut off my computer.
Once I tried to reboot my computer up came a blue screen that gave me an error message - "automatic driving lessons.zip" has been installed upon your computer, all system files have been automatically deleted. What a nightmare, all my music was gone as I had it all saved on the hard drive and had made no backups. My only option now was to re-install windows and hope for the best. This installation took just over 1 hour to complete and when I tried to start up my computer it gave me the same error message again. I guess this was my punishment for downloading music. Sorry.
