As soon as I had my hands on my new car, a Mercedes-Benz SL460, I just couldn't wait to know exactly how to drive it. Therefore, I hit google and tried to look for the best car driving lessons available in town. I had just seen a van drive past which was advertising a car driving lessons company, too. I finally found one which I liked and contacted the company. They said that they would be happy to give me the car driving lessons and that they would also arrange the driving test with the Licensing authorities to make it easier for me. A representative of the company came to my house, we both went to a special car testing area near my house and then I started to learn how to drive a car. The car driving lessons seemed pretty difficult to me at first, all the gears and the clutches, and brakes and acceleration. The hardest parts were learning how and why to use the rear- and side-view mirrors. Finally, after 3 hours of intense practicing, I was finally able to at least drive the car around at 20km/h through the car practice area. I knew that I still had a lot of more driving practice to do. So I came back to the area with my instructor the next day and this time we had a good day. As I already had a grip on how to drive a car, we focused on the other stuff, like indicator, alert lights and the like. We also came out of the practicing area and drove a bit on the road. The instructor finally decided that I really was ready to give the driving test now. The next day, I went to the company's office again and then they took me to the Licence Authority's Headquarters where I had to give the driving test. After spend six hours for three days with a Mercedes, I went through the test quite easily and passed. I got my Driving license in the post 2 days later. This was a new beginning of freedom for me. I could now go wherever wanted to. I did not have to rely on my old brother now to take me to a party or to drop me to college. I was Free! I didn't and couldn't wait to tell my friends, none of whom had passed the driving test yet, so I called them over and gave them the surprise. We had so much fun then. We drove through the city all night and went to every place we wanted to go to!
