Taking the driving defensive test online was a cheap way to get a discount. Our insurance rates went up when we bought our large truck;nothing is cheap about that truck. You would think the oil change would be reasonable, but it is not cheap either. The cost is $75plus tax to take it and get it done anywhere, and $50 if we do it ourselves.

Now we can enjoy a slightly smaller bill each month to ensure that very pretty truck.

Her other child Kevin has to take his driving lessons in the UK. She was telling me last year how he had to pass a practical test. He had a time passing something called the theory test first. She said that was a two part test and it was difficult for him. It's not for most people but her son had a problem with it and failed the first time. The practical test is the test they take with the examiner in the car with them. He passed his practical test the first time. He said it was easy for him. I told her I had heard the practical test was harder than what we have to pass for our driver’s license. After someone gets a failed theory test they must wait a certain amount of time before they can take it again. She said he had to wait 3 months. During the waiting period he took an online course and studied very hard to make it the second time and for him that paid off.
