As soon as I was seventeen years old I got my provisional driving license from the dsa. I looked in the Yellow Pages to find a suitable school to take driving lessons with. I worked on Saturdays and in the week went to school. I didn't have all that much money to take driving lessons so finding the cheapest school was important to me.

I had always loved my motorcycle. From as far back as i can remember i had always been around motorbikes as both my parents were huge motorbike enthusiasts. My dad owned his own company which specialized in custom built motorbikes which he would build by hand as i would ride around his workshop on my battery powered mini bike. My girlfriend just got fired a few days ago from her old job because the company she was working with, has done very lousy in the last year, and the crisis did take its toll on the local economy. So they went to use the usual remedy in this situation, cutting personnel, and because she was newer and less qualified than many of her colleagues, she (together with many others) was a sure victim.

I miss the days of Napster, the file sharing community that was widely popular many years ago. I used to spend most of my teenage years downloading music and sitting in them chat rooms participating in pointless conversations while everybody sat patiently waiting for their songs to finish downloading. It was a cheap alternative to buying music anyway. Actually it was free. I never spent a penny. However somebody always has to spoil the fun for others. It didn't take long before Napster started getting hit with lawsuits from artists along with record labels and it soon became a service that you had to pay for.

My father had a big career as a driving instructor in fact he still does it part time as its a big passion of his, he thought me when I was young how to drive and I loved it to, you could say its in the blood. I got my first motor at 18 after I passed my driving test and attended insurance groups, it was such a great experience to be able to drive by myself after devoting such large amounts of time to lessons and such. After attending a special insurance group for people who were a similar age to me I decided to start studying for a career as a driving instructor just like my father has. He was so proud the day I went home to tell him. both my parents really liked and supported the idea so that was all I needed to know and hear, I had the green light in this career so all was good and I signed up for the best college course that I could find which was related to that field and I was on my way to getting the same career as my father and making everyone around me proud. The first few weeks were stressful in the sense that we were thought so much about the overall area of teaching and driving then merging them together, it was fun though, I cant deny it was exciting to sit there and be educated in this field which I have always had such a big passion for, even one day I hope my children will also follow this course.

As soon as I had my hands on my new car, a Mercedes-Benz SL460, I just couldn't wait to know exactly how to drive it. Therefore, I hit google and tried to look for the best car driving lessons available in town. I had just seen a van drive past which was advertising a car driving lessons company, too. I finally found one which I liked and contacted the company. They said that they would be happy to give me the car driving lessons and that they would also arrange the driving test with the Licensing authorities to make it easier for me. A representative of the company came to my house, we both went to a special car testing area near my house and then I started to learn how to drive a car. The car driving lessons seemed pretty difficult to me at first, all the gears and the clutches, and brakes and acceleration. The hardest parts were learning how and why to use the rear- and side-view mirrors. Finally, after 3 hours of intense practicing, I was finally able to at least drive the car around at 20km/h through the car practice area. I knew that I still had a lot of more driving practice to do. So I came back to the area with my instructor the next day and this time we had a good day. As I already had a grip on how to drive a car, we focused on the other stuff, like indicator, alert lights and the like. We also came out of the practicing area and drove a bit on the road. The instructor finally decided that I really was ready to give the driving test now. The next day, I went to the company's office again and then they took me to the Licence Authority's Headquarters where I had to give the driving test. After spend six hours for three days with a Mercedes, I went through the test quite easily and passed. I got my Driving license in the post 2 days later. This was a new beginning of freedom for me. I could now go wherever wanted to. I did not have to rely on my old brother now to take me to a party or to drop me to college. I was Free! I didn't and couldn't wait to tell my friends, none of whom had passed the driving test yet, so I called them over and gave them the surprise. We had so much fun then. We drove through the city all night and went to every place we wanted to go to!

Taking the driving defensive test online was a cheap way to get a discount. Our insurance rates went up when we bought our large truck;nothing is cheap about that truck. During a driving practice test that I was taking a couple of summers ago, my instructor had an epileptic seizure. Unaware of what my instructor was suffering from, I got out of the car and yelled for help. As I was outside yelling for help, a man driving ,way above the speed limit, crashed into me by hitting my passenger door. I was aware that I was at fault since I had not properly moved over to the side and kept my car out of harms way. I panicked! Since I was simply taking my driving practice test, I did not belong to any sort of insurance group.As the man angrily got out of his automobile, the instructor continued convulsing in the front of the car. I was terrified since I had no clue what I should do. The man approached me demanding I gave him my insurance group information so he could be on his way. I, nervously ,explained that I did not belong to an insurance group and that I was in the middle of a driving practice test while the instructor, which was still in the middle of a seizure, continued her convulsing.

I wanted to get a drivers license and found out from the insurance group that I would have to complete driving instruction, in order to be safe the driving instructor checked out the motor on the car I would use. A safe driving record would lower the rates on the insurance group policy. I also found out that having the motor serviced on a regular basis would help make the operation of the vehicle safe. So having the motor checked I completed my instruction, got my license and was added to our family insurance group policy and I'm now a legal driver.
